Payment of dividends by direct credit
Many UK shareholders have already arranged for dividends to be paid electronically directly into their bank or building society account through the BACS (Bankers' Automated Clearing Services) system. The benefit to shareholders of the BACS payment method is that the Registrar posts or electronically sends by email the tax vouchers directly to them, whilst the dividend is credited on the payment date to the shareholder's bank or building society account as cleared funds. Shareholders wishing to benefit from this service should register their bank details at www.investorcentre.co.uk or call our registrar, Computershare Investor Services PLC, via the contact details above. The benefit to the Company is improved efficiency through lower postage charges and print costs.
Dividend ReInvestment Plan (DRIP)
You may be interested to know that William Hill offers a Dividend Reinvestment Plan (DRIP) whereby your cash dividend can be used to purchase additional William Hill shares at a low rate of commission. Contact our Registrar or register online at www.investorcentre.co.uk for further details and a DRIP mandate form.
